Films Return to the Moderne After Fifty Years

In March 2013 the first film to be shown at the old Moderne Cinema In the Moordown suburb of Bournemouth for fifty years was a dvd copy of The Hobbit shown on a Christie digital projector. Things have moved on in fifty years with the old Kalee 11 machine in the foyer of the building, now known as the Lifehouse, reduced to the role of advertising hoarding!!
